At the rate kids grow, buying cheap toys is not only important, it's practical. The old saying, 'kids grow up so fast', is probably the most true cliché. In the blink of an eye they go from infancy to toddler then they're in kindergarten and so on. Each age level has a different growth in terms of learning and development, and each age level requires toys that aid in development. Keeping up with the toys that fit development levels can be expensive, but there are options. There are many places to find cheap baby toys and cheap kids toys.

There is a significant change between infancy and toddler ages. These stages of development are the fastest. Toys can help stimulate the growth between each significant stage. While some toys are just entertaining, most toys have some significance in regards to development. For instance teething rings, are not just to sooth mouths, their shape helps develop tactile responses in the hands. Teething rings which are made with water, develop other tactile responses. It is thought that babies in the womb respond positively to music and reading, Learning development is so critical at early ages, that even as babies are in the womb they soak up knowledge. Since so many toys are needed it is crucial to find the cheap toys wherever possible.

Child development has many phases. Each stage has a different set of tools that help develop that stage. Of course every parent wants to give their children the best support possible to speed learning and development, always keeping in mind that every child develops at different rates.

During year 1 of a child's life, the development in motor, speech and physical development is at it's speediest. The type of toys required to fulfill their needs are very different than at age 1-2, and 3-4 etc. Since toys can help with the different kinds of development, there should be different types of toys to complement that growth. For example, in the first few months of life the child is developing hand muscles (to grasp), toys which stimulate the development of muscle and tactile response are very helpful. Some children learn to walk at age 8-9 months, having the muscle growth to allow this feat may aid their quest. A walker is great for exercising the legs, and babies love to play in it as well. I have a special section developed for cheap baby toys, that you'll want to discover.

For every year after age one, children develop different skills more slowly than the first 12 months, however, the rate is still fairly fast until about age five. From age five and on, children develop different significant growths in spurts. Each large development stages will require toys which adjust to the growth, however, it's much easier (and cheaper) to purchase toys at these stages, as they last longer.

Not all toys are for assisting in the development of muscle, language or motor skills. There are toys which develop other important aspects of the brain. Creativity is stimulated through different types of play that involves things like dress up and play acting. The good news is this type of creative learning comes with cheap kids toys.

As a retired teacher, I have a special interest in the growth and development of children. And as a limited income woman, I have a special interest in the discovering of places to buy cheap toys.
